Want to use our Magnolia Mixes High Protein Pancake & Waffle Mix to create delicious, affordable gluten free high protein bars? Just follow the simple recipe below! Depending on ingredients, each bar contains around 11g of protein and costs around fifty cents!
- 1 cup of Magnolia Mixes High Protein Pancake & Waffle Mix
- 1 cup of nuts or seeds
- 1 cup of dried fruits (we like chopped dates)
- 2/3 cup of nut butters (peanut butter, almond butter, sunflower seed butter)
- 1/4 cup of honey or maple syrup
Using a medium bowl and spoon, mix well, and pat the dough firmly onto a baking pan lined with parchment paper. The bars should be about 1/2 inch thick. Bake at 300 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool. Cut into 8 bars. They can be individually placed in snack bags, and kept in the refrigerator for a week.
