Bake a delicious gluten free lemon pound cake right in your home. Easy to bake and needs just 4 extra ingredients!
- 1 bag of Magnolia Mixes Gluten Free Lemon Pound Cake Mix
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Melt butter. Place cake mix, eggs, butter, sour cream, and water in a mixing bowl. Beat 3 minutes on medium speed. Pour into a greased 9 x 5 bread pan.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until done in the center. Cool in pan 20 minutes. Remove
If desired, you may add a glaze when the cake is cool; mix ½ cup confectionery sugar with 4 teaspoons lemon juice and pour onto top of cake.
Note: You can substitute yogurt for sour cream for a healthier version!
